Prerequisites and co-requisites
For successful course completion, students are required to be aware of the features of linguodidactics as a science and of subject-specific teaching methods; their knowledge should also include strategies and techniques for teaching foreign languages, methods for teaching world literature, core principles of integrated learning, the required skills are to be able to apply various methods and techniques in different organizational forms within educational institutions. They should also be able to design a set of exercises and tasks for integrated foreign language and literature learning.
Course content
The course aims to develop methodological competencies in planning and organizing integrated language and literature teaching in secondary schools. It covers theoretical, practical, and organizational aspects, as well as methodological technologies for integrated language and literature learning. The course presents a modern perspective on forming students' language and literature competencies in accordance with New Ukrainian School (NUS) requirements.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is conducted in English and combines various teaching methods, including lectures, practical classes, independent study, and project-based learning. Key student activities assessed throughout the semester include responses in practical classes, group/individual projects, and modular tests.
Assessment methods and criteria
The total semester score is based on a 100-score scale, consisting of practical class work (up to 60 points, minimum 36) and the final exam (up to 40 points, minimum 24). Semester assessment covers classroom participation (20 points), modular tests (20 points), and projects (20 points). The exam is written, requiring four responses: two theoretical or theory-practical questions and one practical task. Each task is worth a maximum of 10 points.
