PLO 3. Organize the process of own learning and self-education. PLO 5. Collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions and different political views supporters. PLO 25. Organize the process of teaching Ukrainian language for foreigners, considering the appropriate teaching methodology basics.

Full-time form

Knowledge of the Ukrainian language at a level sufficient to listen to lectures and develop your own listening materials; knowledge of teaching Ukrainian language for foreigners basic methods.

The discipline is aimed at mastering methodological techniques and means of teaching listening in the course of Ukrainian language for foreigners, the ability to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to make educational materials on listening for foreign students. The discipline directs students to form a future teacher of Ukrainian language for foreigners professional and methodological base, prepares them for interconnected teaching of speech activity types with leading listening and educational materials on listening independent creation.

Lectures, practical classes, independent work. Teaching methods and technologies are aimed at normative speech skills consolidating, listening to texts, writing translations. Explanatory and illustrative, communicative reproductive and productive methods.

Oral responses; participation in discussion; analysis of factors influencing the auditing competence formation; listening speech features analysis, Ukrainian language for foreigners' textbooks and manuals educational and methodological materials analysis, creating and improving of existing teaching materials on listening skills; demonstration lesson on teaching listening skills, notes; Modular Test Work (MTW).
