Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the Ukrainian language at a level sufficient to read non-adapted literary texts; understand the Ukrainian language artistic style specifics; know the basics of teaching Ukrainian language for foreigners. 2. Be able to work with text in Ukrainian: read, understand the meaning, analyze the structure, use dictionaries and other reference books to clarify anything incomprehensible. 3. Successful mastery of theoretical and practical courses in Ukrainian language and literature.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to improve the Ukrainian-language literary text reading and understanding skills and teach methods of working with literary text in a foreign audience. The discipline gives an idea of the goals and features of using fiction texts in teaching Ukrainian language for foreigners at different levels of language proficiency; introduces the basic principles of effective work with literary text. As part of mastering the discipline, it is envisaged to improve the Ukrainian-language literary text reading and understanding skills, as well as abilities and skills in all other types of speech activity.
