Learning outcomes
While studying the discipline, students will learn to evaluate methods and systems of study, effective application and implementation of methods of building methodologies, models, methods and means of IT implementation using modern knowledge in the field of IT project management. The student will develop IT projects and implement them in practice based on new technologies, monitor projects using modern methods and tools, evaluate the economic efficiency of projects; used typical IT implementation project management schemes; apply in practice methodologies, methods and means of managing IT implementation projects; to develop stages of solving problems in the process of IT implementation.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Understanding of the essence and main processes of project management, as well as the basics of project structuring, components of methodologies, models, methods and means of project management, project management methodologies, management tools of fields of knowledge in project management, fields of knowledge of project management, models and methods of planning, implementation and project monitoring. Knowledge of modern methods and means of project management; use of typical project management schemes using modern methods; apply project management methodologies, methods and tools in practice; evaluate methods and systems of computer support for making managerial decisions, methods of time management, cost of projects, their quality and risks, human resources and procurement and apply them in practice.
Course content
According to the requirements of the educational and professional program, as a result of studying the academic discipline, the student will know: IT project implementation processes; definition, structure, components of methodologies, models, methods and IT project management tools; IT project management methodologies; models and methods of planning, implementation and monitoring of IT projects; the peculiarity of management and the importance of the soft component in IT project management. Use methods of making changes to projects to adapt projects to new situations and make appropriate decisions about changes.

Assessment methods and criteria
The level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of the defense of practical work and individual tasks of independent work. Semester assessment of students is carried out during the semester for all types of work. The total score is formed as a weighted sum of points earned by the student for various types of work. The maximum number of points that a student can receive for work in a semester does not exceed 60 points. The final assessment form is an exam. In order to gain access to the exam, it is mandatory to complete all practical, laboratory and independent work. The defense of works takes place at the end of the class of the corresponding type, according to the schedule. A student can get a maximum of 40 points on the exam.
