Acquisition of the necessary methodological knowledge and practical skills in the field of the EU substantive law, which allows the application of acquired knowledge in relations with foreign elements.

Full-time form

The discipline “EU Substantive Law" is based on and closely interacts with series of disciplines of theoretical, professional and practical training, including "Theory of International Economic Relations", "Regulation of International Economic Relations", "Economics of International Integration", "International Public Law", "International Private Law ", etc. Basic knowledge of EU law as well as international law are obligatory.

Thematic plan of the discipline: 1. The concept of EU substantive law and its structure, the main international treaties of the EU, the formation of the internal market 2. The division of power between the institutions of the EU and the legal nature of the EU, fundamental freedoms 3. Customs duties and CEE, discriminatory taxation, the concept of the internal market and freedom of movement of goods 4. Competing goods, prohibition of quantitative restrictions and measures having equivalent effect 5. Principles of mutual recognition and equivalence 6.The free movement of persons / workers in the EU 7.Freedom of establishment and mutual recognition 8.Free Movement of Services in the EU 9.Free Movement of Capital in the EU, prevention of money laundering and deposit-guarantee schemes

Lecture, seminar, individual works

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 48 points), individual works (up to 18 points), final modular test (up to 34 points). The form of final control is a credit.
