Learning outcomes
To understand the basic concepts of foreign direct investment. To understand the features of attraction and regulation of foreign direct investment flows. To know and understand the nature of the relationship between multinational enterprises and states. To know and understand the relationship between the degree of foreign direct investment attracted and the level of competitiveness of the country. To understand the basics of corporate social responsibility of international enterprises. Identify the evolution of the organizational structure of multinational enterprises. To be able to use the knowledge and methods gained during the course for further study of the student, as well as for practical use in the analysis of foreign direct investment. To be able to use in practice the basic knowledge about the functioning of multinational enterprises. To be able to determine the optimal strategy for attracting foreign direct investment, providing maximum benefits for the host country.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basics of political economy, macroeconomics, microeconomics, international trade, statistics, world economy, multinational enterprises, international business and global finance. 2. To understand the main features of foreign direct investment and principles of operation of multinational enterprises. 3. To have basic skills in collecting and processing economic information, critical thinking, working with a significant amount of theoretical and empirical data, while providing your own conclusions and suggestions.
