Learning outcomes
To know the conceptual framework that characterizes the essence of international payment systems and their regulation. To know the sources of information on the current state and directions of development of international payment systems. To know the general prerequisites and patterns of evolution of international payment systems. To know the components and infrastructure of international payment systems, and features of financial intermediaries on them. To know the system of legal and institutional environment of international payment systems.

1. To have basic skills in finding and analyzing regulations, analytical materials and statistical sources. 2. To know English or other foreign languages for better opportunities to familiarize yourself with the regulations governing the activities of international payment systems in the context of global development.
Course content
1. The essence and purpose of payment systems in the system of international economic relations. 2. Organization of international settlements and risks in the activities of payment systems. 3. Development of infrastructure and security of payment systems in the face of global challenges. 4. Payment systems in the world and their characteristics. 5. International payment systems and their comparative analysis. 6. Development of international card payment systems. 7. Payment systems on the Internet.
