Learning outcomes
1. To comprehend and analyze global processes and their impact on international relations and foreign policy of individual states.
2. To analyze and evaluate problems of international and national security, international and international conflicts, approaches, methods and mechanisms of security in the international space and in foreign policy.
3. To assess and analyze international and foreign policy problems and situations, propose approaches to solving such problems.
4. To develop and implement applied research projects in international relations, foreign and world policy.
5. To be able to determine the features of the formation and implementation of foreign policy strategies, the content of modern views on the nature of foreign policy strategies and strategic planning.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To have basic knowledge of international relations and world politics, foreign policy theory, foreign policy strategy.
2. To be able to analyze documents, in particular contractual and foreign policy; to work with literature of educational and scientific character.
3. To have the skills of political analysis.
Course content
Topic 1. Foreign policy strategy of Ukraine as a subject of scientific analysis. Foreign policy strategy of Ukrainian state formations from the Kyiv state until the proclamation of Ukraine's independence in 1991.
Topic 2. Conceptual and theoretical foundations of Ukraine's foreign policy strategy.
Topic 3. Euro-Atlantic direction of Ukraine's foreign policy strategy and its practical implementation.
Topic 4. Central and South-Eastern European countries in Ukraine's foreign policy strategy.
Topic 5. Ukraine's foreign policy strategy in the post-Soviet space.
Topic 6. Countries of Asia, Africa and Oceania in the foreign policy strategy of Ukraine.
Topic 7. Latin American countries in Ukraine's foreign policy strategy.
