Learning outcomes
To know and understand nature, sources and trends of evolution of international relations, international policy, foreign policy and diplomacy, theoretic research of international relations and world policy. To critically realize and analyze global processes and their impact on international relations, diplomacy and international cooperation. To apply contemporary approaches methods and methodology to do a research on problems of international relations, diplomacy and foreign policy. To collect, elaborate and analyze information on international relations, world policy, foreign policy and diplomacy of the states. To perform activities in diplomatic and other spheres connected with international relations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
-To know theoretic foundations of multilateral international relations, situations of crises and conflicts, multilateral diplomacy, basic foundations of formation and pursuing of foreign policy. -To be able to analyze dynamics of multilateral interaction considering complex of political and economic factors. -To have elementary experience of political analysis, analysis of international situations and predictability.
Course content
Module 1. 1.Concepts and theoretic foundations of studying international humanitarian cooperation 2.Priorities of international humanitarian ties in contemporary system of international relations 3.Humanitarian challenges in contemporary world. Topical nature of international organizations activities in humanitarian sphere 4.UN and its role in the sphere of international humanitarian cooperation and providing humanitarian assistance Module 2 5. Humanitarian diplomacy in contemporary international relation: problems and prospects 6. Main spheres and trends of development of inter-state humanitarian cooperation 7.Peculiarities of Ukraine’s humanitarian policy.

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Answers, comments, blitz poll, discussion, problems – up to 60 points. 2. Tasks for individual work (presentation) – up to 20 points. 3. Module test paper – up to 20 points.
