Learning outcomes
To evaluate critically and analyze global processes and their impact on international relations, diplomacy and international cooperation. To assess and analyze international, foreign policy and diplomatic problems and situations, propose approaches to solving such problems. To be able to organize and implement individual and group research projects in the field of international relations, world politics and international cooperation. To interact with specialists from other fields in the development and implementation of applied and research projects in the field of international cooperation and diplomacy.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Тo know the theory and practice of diplomacy, diplomatic service and the law of foreign payments, state administration. 2. To be able to analyze documents, laws of a contractual and political nature; to work with literature of the initial and scientific character. 3. To have the skills of political analysis.
Course content
Module 1. Establishment, stages of development and general principles of the Council of Europe Institutional system of the Council of Europe. Legal and political monitoring of the Council of Europe Law of the Council of Europe The place and role of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms in the European system of human rights protection Instruments and mechanisms of international non-judicial protection of individual and collective rights of the Council of Europe Module 2. Promoting democracy in the work of the Council of Europe Ukraine and the Council of Europe Cooperation of the Council of Europe with international organizations

1. Oral answers, comments, blitz poll, discussion, problems – up to 35 points. 2.Module control work – up to 25 points. 3. Exam - up to 40 points.
