Learning outcomes
To know the terms, categories, theories, and mechanisms of the pricing process; pricing mechanisms for innovative products at the firm level; features of the dynamics of domestic and foreign trade prices of the world market. To be able to select the most rational in foreign experience of pricing at the firm level, to use methods of construction of price indices, to apply price innovative strategies; to analyse, evaluate and forecast further activities in the field of international economic relations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The discipline "Pricing in World Markets" is based on and closely interacts with the cycle of disciplines of theoretical, professional and practical training, in particular "Fundamentals of International Microeconomics", "Theory of International Economic Relations", "Regulation of International Economic Relations", "Methodology of International Business Studies", "International Business", etc. The purpose of the discipline is to study modern theory and practices of pricing, analysis of patterns of formation of domestic and foreign trade prices within world trade, pricing methods at the micro (firms and organizations) and macroeconomic (national and international) levels, features of building important economic indices. mainly used in modern world practice.
Course content
Module 1. "Theoretical and methodological foundations of pricing analysis at the macro level" 1 Fundamentals of methodology and patterns of pricing. 2 Monopolistic competition and pricing processes at the macroeconomic level 3 Influence of external “environmental factors” on pricing processes at the microeconomic level 4 Domestic and world prices of industrialized countries Module 2. "Features of the principles and methods of pricing at the micro level" 5 Pricing strategy of the firm and modern marketing theory 6 Competitiveness and features of foreign trade price calculations 7 Indices of domestic prices and foreign trade prices. Prices and general economic equilibrium 8 Stock quotes as prices of real contracts and the practice of their calculations 9 Practice of preparation and carrying out of marketing and financial research of the investment project
