Learning outcomes
PLO 3. To make reasonable decisions in the law-making and law-enforcement fields of law, realizing their ethical consequences for different subjects of national and international commercial law.
PLO 4. Demonstrate the ability to conduct cases in international judicial institutions and other general and special international institutions for the settlement of international disputes, protecting interests of the state, individuals and legal entities.
PLO 5. Demonstrate the ability to represent the client's interests in civil and commercial matters in the courts of Ukraine, arbitration courts, state bodies authorized to conduct commercial investigations.
PLO 10. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of legal ethics and the ability to be guided by it in everyday legal activity.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of the general theory of state and law, features of modern legal systems, know the principles of private international law, comparative constitutional law, comparative civil law, comparative criminal law, comparative administrative law.
2. Be able to independently search for normative and literary sources, apply the main international and domestic acts of legal regulation of public and private relations.
3. Possess basic skills of legal analysis, critical thinking, elaboration of legal material with the provision of their own conclusions and suggestions
Course content
To reveal the concept and essence of the bar in Ukraine and in the legal systems of other countries (Germany, France, Britain and the United States), to explore the historical features, principles and principles of advocacy, types, guarantees of advocacy, liability of lawyers, principles and organizational forms of advocacy municipality.

Lectures, seminars, solving practical cases, the execution of self-study tasks; performing group tasks-simulations
Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answer, supplement, independent work or written interview at the seminar - 1-9 points;
2. Oral answer or written questioning at the lecture - 1-3 points;
3. Modular test - 10 points;
It is mandatory to write two modular tests and get at least 40 points per semester.
