Know the history, sources, principles, subjects of international natural resource law, as well as features of international responsibility and implementation of international law in the field of natural resources; Know the international legal aspects of natural resource regulation and international legal aspects of its protection; To know the regional mechanisms of legal regulation of cooperation of states in the field of international natural resource law, in particular the European, African and Asian continents, as well as the peculiarities of the implementation of international legal norms in the field of natural resources at the national level; Be able to find out the main trends and patterns of development of international natural resource law; Be able to prepare certificates and recommendations on international natural resource law for public authorities of Ukraine; Be able to use the acquired knowledge in professional legal activities;

- Knowledge of the basics of the theory of international law, international economic law, international environmental law. - Ability to use legal concepts and categories used in international law, logically and professionally justify and express their point of view on international law. - Possession of basic skills in the field of international environmental law.

Thematic plan of the discipline: 1. Introduction. 2. Natural resources as an object of international legal regulation. 3. Sources and subjects of international natural resource law 4. Systemic aspects of international natural resource law 5. Principles of international natural resource law 6. International legal regimes of nature management 7. Sovereignty over natural resources 8. Features of international legal regulation of certain types of natural resources.

Lectures, seminars

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 30 points), additions (up to 5 points), written assignment (up to 5 points), final modular test (up to 10 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 40 points.
