Successful mastering by students of theoretical and normative material, development of ability to logically and professionally substantiate and express their point of view on international public law, creation of skills of international legal analysis of complex modern problems of international relations and foreign policy of Ukraine, ability to resolve hypothetical interstate disputes.

Know the basics of public international law (basics of theory), the law of international treaties. Ability to analyze the content of the rights and obligations of subjects of international law in accordance with the provisions of international treaties, apply the rules and principles of international law, as well as decisions of international courts and arbitral tribunals. Basic skills of legal analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, elaboration of a large part of legal material with own conclusions and suggestions.

Lectures, seminars

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 30 points), additions (up to 5 points), written assignment (up to 5 points), final modular test (up to 10 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 40 points.
