Learning outcomes
To understand the origin and formation of international organizations as subjects of international law; concepts, features and types of international organizations as subjects of international law; the concept of international legal status of an international organization and its elements; international organizations as participants in the law-making process; legal acts of international organizations, their types and legal nature; integration of Ukraine into the system of international relations and international organizations.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of classifications of international organizations by features and elements of international legal status; ability to analyze the constituent documents of various international organizations; determine the grounds and type of responsibility of the international organization; have special terminology sufficient for its free use in practical work, including in a foreign language (in particular, English, French and German); apply the acquired knowledge to solve practical problems related to the implementation of Ukraine's foreign policy.
Course content
Thematic plan of the discipline: 1. Systemic affiliation of the law of international organizations. 2. The emergence and formation of international intergovernmental organizations - subjects of international law. 3. The UN is an international organization of a universal nature. 4. The legal nature of international organizations. 5. International legal status of international organization. 6. Classification of international organizations. 7. Acts of international organizations, their types and legal nature. 8. The supranationality of international organizations and state sovereignty. 9. Integration of Ukraine into the system of international relations and international organizations.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 30 points), written assignment (up to 3 points), final modular test (up to 50 points). The form of final control is credit.
