Learning outcomes
To know: the concept, nature and scope of international law; history of international law and its science; sources of international law; system and structure of international law; concepts, features, types, classification and codification of international law norms; basic principles of international law; correlation between international and municipal law; subjects of international law; status of individuals and legal entities in international law; recognition and succession of states in international law; the concept and process of international lawmaking and legal awareness; mechanisms of realization of international law norms; responsibility, sanctions and countermeasures in international law; international justice, judicial bodies and its activities; concept and substance of international rule of law.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1.Knowledge of the disciplines: "Theory of State and Law", "History of Political and Legal Doctrines", "Introduction to the specialty" International Law "," History of International Law "," Theory of International Relations ". 2. Ability to logically substantiate and express their point of view on issues of public international law; use legal concepts and categories applicable in the field of international relations on international law; analyse the normative content and legal nature of basic international legal acts on international law; analyze compliance situations and identify cases of violations of international law. 3. Have basic skills of legal analysis and synthesis, critical thinking, elaboration of a significant array of legal material with the provision of their own conclusions and suggestions.

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 5 points), additions (up to 3 points), written assignment (up to 5 points), final modular test (up to 20 points). The form of final control in 5th semester is a test, sn 6th semester is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 40 points.
