Learning outcomes
Learning the provisions on the sources of criminal law of different countries, the main institutions aimed at combating crime, which would provide an opportunity at the professional level to carry out law-making and law enforcement activities in the field of combating crime, including the sphere of international cooperation. For this purpose, the course provides a comparative description of the legal establishment of international standards of criminal prosecution in a special part of criminal law, in particular, the concept of crimes against peace, human security and international legal order

Prerequisites and co-requisites
This Course is based on and closely interacts with the cycle of disciplines of theoretical, professional and practical training, in particular "Theory of the state and law", "Comparative constitutional law", "Comparative civil law", "Comparative administrative law", "Comparative criminal procedure", "Comparative administrative process", "International criminal law", etc. The student must have general knowledge of the theory of criminal law, the concept of criminal law, the main institutions of the criminal field of law, general knowledge of criminal liability, etc. In addition, the student must have general knowledge about the principles of qualifying criminal acts

5. Composition of the crime in criminal law
6. Circumstances excluding the criminality of the act
7. Stages of committing an intentional criminal act
8. Complicity in a criminal act
9. Criminal liability
10. Punishment for a criminal act
11. Other forms of criminal responsibility
12. Safety measures
13. Determination of punishment
14. Exemption from criminal liability, from punishment and from further serving of punishment
15. Institutions of amnesty, pardon and conviction in criminal law
16. Concept and system of the Special part of criminal law. Criteria for the systematization of norms
17. Criminal acts against a person
18. Criminal acts against property

Lecture, seminar, solving practical cases, performing tasks of independent work
Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: oral answers (up to 24 points), additions (up to 16 points), solving case studies (up to 10 points), final essay (up to 10 points), final modular control work (up to 10 points).
The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in the form of a test. The student's answer on the exam is evaluated at a maximum of 30 points
