1. To know the specific features of official-business and scientific style texts in Ukrainian and English; features of public style texts, expressive means of public style; professional terminology; cliche and vocabulary, which serves standardized texts in English and Ukrainian languages. 2. To be able to carry out oral and written translation of official-business style texts and scientific and journalistic styles texts from English into Ukrainian and from Ukrainian into English; translation during scientific conferences; to interpret at negotiations, business meetings, conferences, etc; to perform complete oral translation of audio texts. 3. Etiquette of the translator in business communication.

Distance form

- To have sufficient knowledge of English, translation theory and primary translation and professional skills to a sufficient extent to acquire the relevant skills for translation in business and translation during conferences in English.
