Learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and professional activity. Ability to conduct comprehensive analysis and monitoring of world markets, to assess changes in the international environment and to be able to adapt to them. Ability to analyze international markets for goods and services, tools and principles of regulation of international trade, international investment, international scientific and technical exchange, international labor migration. Ability to determine the functional features, nature, level and degree of relationships between the subjects of international economic relations of different levels and to establish communication between them. Ability to conduct research on economic phenomena and processes in the international sphere, taking into account causal and spatio-temporal relationships. Ability to apply methods, rules and principles of functioning of international economic relations for the development of foreign economic activity of Ukraine.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
A student must have general knowledge of the patterns of behavior of economic entities in market conditions, have universal tools for making informed decisions about the choice in the presence of limited resources and alternative uses, determine the functions of market self-regulation and the need and nature of government intervention;reveal the content of the mechanism of state regulation of the economy by means of fiscal, monetary, foreign economic and social policy; use methods of calculating key macroeconomic indicators; use macroeconomic terminology. In addition, a student must have the necessary qualifications to analyze the processes and phenomena occurring in the markets of goods and services of the European Union.
Course content
Content module 1 Analysis of European commodity markets. Theoretical principles of market analysis. The system of factors that determine the modality of the market at the micro, meso and macro levels and methods of their evaluation. Analytical mechanism of market assessment and features of its practical application for European countries. Risk analysis tools and methods for forecasting European markets. European energy market analysis. Market analysis of the EU agricultural market. Analysis of the European automotive market. Analysis of European commodity markets that are undertraded by Ukraine. Content module 2 Analysis of European services markets. Modalities of EU services markets. Features of financial and consulting services markets. Analysis of European transport services markets. Analysis of European markets for innovation, technology and computer services. Market analysis of the EU tourism market. Analysis of EU markets for services that are undertraded by Ukraine.

Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge, skills: 1. During the answers at the seminars (participation in the discussion); 2. In the form of writing an individual work 1 (Market analysis of European commodity markets (case study)); 3. In the form of writing an individual work 2 (Analysis of European services markets (case study)); 4. In the form of presentations of the results of individual works 1 and 2. 5. During the modular tests. The final assessment (in the form of a test) is based on the results of work in the semester (the amount of points received for all types of work).
