Theoretical and practical aspects of the study of international markets for goods and services, namely: ability to analyze the main determinants of global markets for goods and services, to analyze the situation of a particular type of international market for goods and services, to perform highly analytical, organizational and teaching work in the field of international economic relations and international business, optimal ratio between theoretical knowledge and practical skills of analysis of current trends in the international services market. Ability to select, analyze, evaluate and systematize the available analytical information on the state of the international market of goods and services; to forecast international trade in regions, countries and relevant markets; to formulate the goals and objectives of market research in international trade.

Distance form

A student must: 1. Know the basics of the theory of international economic relations, regulation of international economic relations, and market research. 2. Be able to analyze the causes, consequences and trends in international markets. 3. Have basic skills of search and analysis of analytical materials and sources of statistical data.

Content module 1. Methodological basis of research and determinants of development of the world market of services. The situation on the world commodity market: features of individual segments and the dynamics of processes. The situation on the world market of minerals, metals and fuels. Trends in the international market of chemical industry and machine-building products. Trends atthe world market of agro-industrial products. The situation on the world market of tourist and transport services. International trade and financial consulting services. Analysis of engineering and leasing services in international trade. Features of the international market of IT services.

Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge and skills: 1. During the answer at the seminars (participation in the discussion); 2. In the form of writing individual analytical works during independent study of topics; 3. In the form of essay writing; 4. In the form of discussion of trends in the development of forms of international economic relations; 5. In the form of a presentation of a study of a specific form of international economic relations.
