- to understand the basic concepts in the field of information technology and analylysis of world markets
- to understand the features of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its impact on the world economy
- to know and understand the types of modern information technologies used to study the state of world markets
- to know and understand the paradox of productivity of the new digital economy
- to understand the basics of virtual market research and forecasting
- to identify the evolution of the functionality of artificial intelligence
- to be able to use the knowledge and methods gained during the course for further study of the student, as well as for practical use in the analysis of world markets
- to be able to use in practice the basic knowledge about the use of artificial intelligence in market research
- to be able to analyze current trends and prospects for the impact of the blockchain on market research methods

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the basics of international statistics, mathematics for economists, political economy, international trade, world economy, international business.
2. Ability to understand the basic principles of global markets, business in general.
3. Basic skills in collecting and processing economic information, working with a significant amount of statistical and empirical data, while analyzing the results and applying critical thinking to synthesize their own conclusions and ideas.
