To know: conceptual and terminological apparatus, peculiarities of organization, implementation of common EU policies, peculiarities of formation of single European transport space, modern infrastructure in EU, basic principles of TEN-T construction and peculiarities of interaction with Cretan transport corridors, main provisions of European Energy Union strategy, united European energy market, energy efficiency and decarbonization as the main priorities of the EU until 2030, national features and mechanism for formulating and implementing regional policy in terms of economic development of member states and their regions, key tools for EU regional policy, macro-regional strategies, economic indicators for identifying problem countries and regions, features of the application of certain instruments of EU transport and energy policies in Ukraine, in particular the Third Energy Package.

Distance form

A student must have a general knowledge of the features, goals and tools for implementing common EU policies, identify problems and consequences of the impact on deepening integration in the group; have the skills to search and analyze regulations, analytical materials and sources of statistical data; have a comprehensive system of knowledge on the forms of implementation of EU infrastructure, energy and regional policy.

Module I. EU infrastructure and energy policy. Features of the establishment of a single European transport space. New EU transport policy: modern infrastructure, environmental friendliness, security. The main directions of the energy strategy of the European Union. Energy efficiency and decarbonization as the main priorities of the energy strategy. The concept of development of transport and energy policy of Ukraine. Module II. EU regional policy. The main dominants of EU regional policy. Interregional cooperation as a form of convergence of EU regions. Activities of structural funds and classificarion of the EU regions. Regional economic policy of Ukraine in the context of European integration

Presentation of analytical works, modular test work, speeches at seminars, surveys. Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge, skills: 1. During the answers at the seminars (participation in the discussion). 2. In the form of writing individual analytical works during independent study of topics. 3. In the form of a presentation on the characteristics of the forms and features of the formation of the trans-European transport and energy network, the current state of implementation of EU transport, energy and regional policy
