Learning outcomes
1. To know economic terminology in the second foreign language and its Ukrainian equivalents.
2. To know texts of international documents.
3. To define the subject in the read text, position and ideas of the author, the main, supporting and illustrative information.
4. Understand speech on professional topics of a lecturer, narrator in phonograph.
5. To understand basic ideas and recognize relevant information in discussions, debates, official reports.
6. To conduct a conversation and to speak freely on the professional topics and to reason one's opinion.
7. To issue official business documents in a foreign language by appropriate lexical, grammatical and stylistic means.
8. To annotate scientific or publicist material using different types of secondary text based on a source text.
9. To make prepared individual presentations and reports; adequately respond to the position / point of view of the interlocutor, to criticize the positions of the opponent.

2. Vocabulary and syntax of scientific speech.

1. Text organization in scientific and journalistic speech.

1. 2 modules up to 10 points (written works) = 20 points (20%).
2. Current control (vocabulary, written assignmen, classroom work, translation) = 40 points (40%).
3. Comprehensive final module (home reading in the specialty, lexical and grammar test / test / exam) = 40 points (40%).
