Learning outcomes
To know and master the technical knowledge of the information sources for making a financial decision at all levels; general patterns of formation and redistribution of financial resources; pricing principles for all types of financial assets; features of the functioning of international currency, credit, and financial markets; the impact of exchange rate dynamics on the volume and structure of foreign investment and world trade; the general structure of the derivatives market and the main mechanisms for their practical use by participants in world finance. To be able to find out the basic principles and patterns of development of international financial markets; to analyze and forecast events in the international foreign exchange market; to analyze the interdependence of the money market and the capital market in the world finance. To get basic communication skills in the process of assessing trends in the global financial markets.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
A student must: - know the theoretical aspects and foundations of international economic relations; principles and patterns of money circulation; - be able to analyze the causes and consequences of trends in the field of international economic relations; - possess elementary skills of search and analysis of normative documents, analytical materials, and sources of statistical data; - have a basic knowledge of English or other foreign languages for the best opportunities to get acquainted with the legal acts and financial reports that regulate the activities of participants in global finance.

1. Answers to seminars, solving practical problems: up to 35 points. 2. Writing an individual analytical work, presentation of an individual topic of the report: up to 15 points. 3. Tests: up to 10 points. 4. Exam (test): up to 40 points.
