Learning outcomes
Knowledge of the stages of deveopment, structure, and general trends in the formation of the world economy; basic concepts, principles and international exchange of goods and services; advantages and disadvantages of the main forms of organization of international scientific and technical exchange; the essence and main trends of the international movement of capital; essence, evolution and characteristic features of the international monetary and financial system; main directions and forms of transnationalization of the world economy; the main trends in the globalization of the world economy; the general characteristics and main trends in the economic development of the leading countries. Be able to analyze the main trends in the development of the world economy; determine the main trends in the development of world trade, its geographical and commodity structure; draw analytical conclusions on the development of the main forms of technology transfer.

It is assumed that students possess the knowledge of basic economic concepts, economic geography, and the basics of economic theory, macroeconomics.
