Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Evaluate one's own educational and scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement.
PLO 2. To demonstrate an adequate level of mastery of national and foreign languages to perform written and spoken communication, namely in the situations of professional and academic communication; to present the results of their studies in these national and foreign languages.
PLO 3. To apply modern methods and techniques, namely informational, in order to perform successful and effective professional activity and guarantee the quality of research in a specific linguistic field.
PLO 10. To collect and systematize facts of language and literature, to interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Proficiency in German at level C1.
Solid knowledge of grammar, morphology, syntax, and stylistics in Ukrainian and German.
Theoretical knowledge from the courses "Corpus Linguistics and Databases" and "Computational Linguistics."
Practical translation skills acquired through translation practice courses.
Course content
The main task of the internship is to consolidate the knowledge acquired in the classes of corpus and computational linguistics, which are necessary for future professional activities.

Working with database methods and corpora
Familiarization with corpus annotation methods
Study of corpus design issues
Annotation (morphological, semantic, error annotation) of texts in automatic and manual modes, verification of annotation for data entry into the corpus
Dealing with lexical, grammatical, and stylistic challenges in practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
The final evaluation at the end of the internship is based on the results of task completion (min. 18 / max. 30 points), adherence to internship guidelines and project deadlines (min. 18 / max. 30 points), preparation of report documentation and its defense by interns (min. 12 / max. 20 points). The minimum passing score is 60, and the maximum score is 100 points.
