Learning outcomes
Know: the legal nature, characteristics and specifics of public international law, place in the system of disciplines;
Be able to: form a holistic view of modern international law and assess the fundamental problems of its theory and practice; legally correctly qualify the relevant facts and circumstances, analyze law-making and law-enforcement international and national practice; analyze the rules of international agreements; to take part in discussions of debatable issues of international law.
Analyze information on international law, evaluate it in terms of continuity and novelty, use modern information technologies and databases.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of doctrinal understanding of the nature of international law, definitions of "source of law", "principle of law", "international treaty", "source of international law", "principles of international law", "international organizations", "international legal responsibility", " international custom "," European law ", etc., obtained as a result of studying the discipline" Theory of Law", "Ukrainian legal terminology ", "Constitutional law "; aquired skills of perception and analysis of the provisions of international law sources.
Course content
The study of the discipline reveals the following issues on the principle of architecture: a) the concepts and characteristics of modern international law; b) norms, principles and sources of public international law; c) subjects of international public law, recognition and succession; d) the law of international agreements; d) the law of international organizations; e) the right to foreign relations; g) human rights in the system of international law. Considerable attention is paid to the origin, formation and development of ideas about international law, which is designed to ensure the integrity of the perception of modern international law, as well as its relationship with domestic law, modern concepts of public international law.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Webinars and lectures on youtube channels, online testing, peer review, film, Mind Maps, analytical notes, case studies, discussions, small group work, analysis of interviews, situations, simulation of various situations, educational role-playing games (modeling a meeting of the UN Security Council, an international judicial institution, international negotiations, etc.).
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods - the type of work / activity of the applicant, which will assess the level of achievement of learning outcomes (testing, creative tasks, individual work, independent work, etc. and the minimum threshold after which a positive assessment is credited) - and evaluation criteria are communicated to applicants before beginning of the study of the discipline by a teacher who conducts seminars.
At the ongoing and final performance evaluation are subject to assessment: the level of "Knowledge", "Understanding", "Application", "Analysis" / "Synthesis" / "Evaluation", demonstrated by the applicant.
If the applicant is absent from the seminar for good reasons, he can work out the missed lesson at extracurricular time. Points are not awarded for missed classes.
