Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before studying this course, students should know general information about philosophy and political science; the specifics of philosophical problems in their relation to political science; 2. Be able to carry out analytical work; collect and interpret scientific information, processing the main literature on political science and philosophy, set general goals and main objectives of scientific research; Possess basic skills to solve problems and practical problems in the learning process; process scientific literature; justify the goals and directions of theoretical research, in particular, analyze problems of social and political practice, predict relevant trends and consequences of its development, develop .
Course content
The essence of philosophy and peculiarities of philosophizing. Worldview: concept, structure, types. Philosophical understanding of man. Axiology (theory of values). Society as a subject of philosophical analysis. Philosophical understanding of culture and civilization processes. Metaphysics and ontology. Metaphysics and philosophy. Arguments against the possibility of metaphysics. Metaphysics as an understanding of being. The experience of being. The principle of the content of being. Analogies of being. Unity of transcendents. Metaphysical and religious understanding of the absolute.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.6), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.6); (communication 3.1-3.5); (autonomy and responsibility 4.2), which accounts for 60% of the total grade.
