PRN 1. Evaluate one's own educational and scientific and professional activities, build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement. PRN 5. Find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of various levels. PRN 13. It is accessible and reasoned to explain the essence of specific philological questions, one's own point of view on them and its justification both to specialists and to the general public, in particular to students. PRN 23. Apply knowledge of teaching methods, psychology, pedagogy in the educational process of a higher school.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
successful mastery of the disciplines "Oriental language (higher level)", "Methodology of teaching an Oriental language in a general education specialized school of the III degree"; • knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the methodology of teaching Eastern languages in higher education and related pedagogical disciplines; • knowledge of the regularities of the educational process in foreign language classes at higher education institutions.
Course content
The main goal of the discipline is to familiarize with the main components of the theory of modern foreign language learning and, on this basis, to teach how to use theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems, to present modern trends in foreign language learning both in our country and abroad; to reveal the essence of the constituent parts and means of modern methodology as a science. Students' independent work includes individual processing of special literature.
