PRL 2. Confidently possess state and foreign languages for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present research results in national and foreign languages PRL 5. To find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels. PRL 10. Collect and systematize linguistic and literary facts, interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres in the field of Japanese philology. PRL 20. Apply the acquired knowledge, developed skills and translation skills to perform oral and written translation activities of texts of various genres and styles from Japanese and English to Ukrainian and vice versa.

Full-time form

fluency in Japanese languages; knowledge of the theoretical foundations of translation studies; successful mastery of the disciplines "Japanese language for professional communication" and "Theory and methodology of Japanese language translation".

Intermittent translation practice (Japanese language) is an integral part of the students' educational process within the free-choice block "Academic Japanese Language and Translation" and is implemented in the fourth semester and consists of 6 credits, i.e. 180 hours. The practice is designed to form the master's skills and abilities necessary for successful implementation of written, sequential and simultaneous translation in real socio-economic conditions with the participation of the Japanese and Ukrainian parties, the ability to quickly solve translation tasks and problems, to apply the latest information and telecommunication technologies during translation work, to understand translation strategies and algorithms.

Translation of texts 30 points Compilation of credit documentation, practice diary, participation in the discussion of practice results (maximum 10 points). Protection of reporting documentation 10 points Under the condition of submitting these documents, students are allowed to defend the results of practice. Students are not allowed to defend practice results if not all documents are submitted, as well as if the grade for active practice is less than 48 points, respectively (60% of the maximum number of points).
