Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) mastery of analytical, search and research skills; 2) fluency in Indonesian and Ukrainian languages; 3) successful mastery of disciplines OK.06 "Indonesian language for professional communication" and OK.07 "Modern Indonesian literature" under the ONP "Eastern philology, Western European language and translation: Indonesian language and literature".
Course content
1. Subject VB 2.06 "Linguistic, cultural and literary relations of Indonesia and Western countries" from the selective block "Indonesian studies" is taught in the third semester and consists of 4 credits, 120 hours (20 lectures, 20 seminars and 80 hours of independent work). The form of final control is credit. The course is designed to expand students' understanding of the history of international relations and the peculiarities of intercultural communication between Indonesians and Western countries in different historical and cultural periods, starting from the first contacts through European traders and missionaries. The inclusion of historical, cultural and artistic materials in the Indonesian language contributes to a deeper understanding of the impact of Indonesia's cultural dialogue with the West on the daily life and worldview, language and literature of its people.

Assessment methods and criteria
Blitz survey: 2 points – the student answers the questions quickly and correctly; 1 point – the student does not demonstrate depth of knowledge; 0 points - the student cannot answer the question. Oral response, participation in discussions at lectures and seminars: 5 points - the student fully possesses the educational material, teaches it freely and with arguments; 4 points – the student has a sufficient amount of educational material; insignificant inaccuracies are allowed; 3 points – the student does not demonstrate depth of knowledge, has significant inaccuracies in the answer; 2-1 points – the student does not fully master the material, has significant errors in the answer Modular control work:Test part - 15 points Open questions - 5 points Project 10 points - the student completed the assigned task independently, qualitatively and on time and prepared a presentation 9-6 points - the student made insignificant mistakes.
