Course content
The discipline introduces the linguodidactic potential of functional lexicology and functional grammar, the principles of selecting vocabulary and grammar for teaching/learning in a foreign audience, the organisation of teaching vocabulary and grammar, the stages of relevant work, the peculiarities of different approaches to the systematic organisation of vocabulary and grammar and different methods of teaching them. The problems of Russian vocabulary and grammar that are difficult for foreigners in terms of teaching and learning are analysed.

Lectures, practical classes, independent work. Teaching methods: explanatory and illustrative, consciously practical (explanation, observation), research methods, including partial search, independent search (research) work with educational publications; educational discussion
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answers, written analytical tasks, module tests with open- or closed-ended questions. Assessment of student knowledge and skills is carried out systematically, in accordance with the thematic plan of classes.
