Learning outcomes
PLO 4. To assess and critically analyse socially personally and professionally significant issues, and suggest solutions in complex and unpredictable conditions, which requires the application of new approaches and forecasting. PLO 5. To find optimal ways of the effective interaction in a team of professionals and with the representatives of other professional groups on different levels. PLO 10. To collect and systematise linguistic, literary and folklore facts, to interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres (depending on the specialisation elected). PLO 13. To explain the essential concepts of specific philological issues, personal point of view and its substantiation both to the specialists and general public, students in particular, in a comprehensible and reasoned form.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful assimilation of general humanitarian disciplines and specialized psychological and pedagogical disciplines ("Pedagogy of the higher school and teacher's pedagogical skill", "Psychology of the higher school", "Methods of teaching the French language in the higher school"), which were taught during two semesters of study at the master's degree. Students must have basic knowledge in the field of higher education pedagogy.
Course content
Acquisition by students of practical skills and teaching experience necessary for teaching disciplines according to the profile of the acquired specialty in higher educational institutions. The discipline is aimed at masters' mastery of modern pedagogical methods and technologies in the organization of the educational process in higher education and psychological methods of its optimization. Practice contributes to the formation of a personal teaching style, an objective assessment of one's capabilities, the application of various teaching methods and techniques, modern pedagogical technologies.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The assistant practice program for master's students consists of the following parts: • conducting instructional meeting for students to acquaint them with the assistant practice program, the requirements for the preparation of practice documentation, the reporting system and evaluation criteria for practice, and receiving individual assignments from their immediate supervisors; • familiarization of interns with scientific and methodical literature of the department, with the latest scientific and methodical works of specialists, with work programs of educational disciplines; • work planning, selection of thematic materials, preparation of didactic materials; • master's students attending lectures, seminars or practical classes of experienced teachers of the department in order to familiarize themselves with the latest scientific approaches, methodological tools and methods of teaching; • drawing up plans for seminar/practical classes, developing tests, etc.
Assessment methods and criteria
Attestation of the results of assistant practice is carried out on the basis of the student's written report on passing the assistant practice, drawn up in accordance with the established requirements. The maximum number of points for the practice report is 80 points, the minimum number of points (positive evaluation) is 48 points. The form of the final control of success in assistantship practice is a differential assessment. Diff. crediting is carried out in the form of a presentation (or report) of the results of assistant practice. Based on the results of the certification, a differentiated assessment is issued. The maximum number of points for the final evaluation is 20 points, the minimum number of points (positive evaluation) is 12 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for credit).
