Learning outcomes
PLO 3. To apply modern methods and technologies, including information technologies, for the successful and effective professional activities and ensuring the quality of research in the field of Spanish linguistics and translation. PLO 4. Tp evaluate and analyse socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in complex and unpredictable conditions that require new approaches and forecasting. PLO 13. Explain the essence of specific philological issues, their own point of view on them and its justification both specialists and public, including students. PLO 16. To use specialised conceptual knowledge in the field of Spanish linguistics and translation to solve complex problems and problems that require updating and integrating knowledge, often in the face of incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of practical and theoretical courses in Communicative Practices (Spanish), Contrastive Linguistics and Translation Studies (Spanish and Ukrainian) within three semesters of study.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to form comprehensive knowledge of the conceptual and methodological apparatus of modern psycholinguistics, current problems, scientific directions and schools of psycholinguistics, to describe the main experimental methods and techniques in psycholinguistics. The discipline "Psycholinguistics (Spanish)" is aimed at acquiring knowledge about language as a psychophysiological process of generating and perceiving statements and the main means of carrying out speech and individual thinking activities. The discipline teaches to identify mental phenomena that are constituent elements of a linguistic (communicative) personality; to define the essence and structure of linguistic consciousness, to analyse mental processes associated with the generation and perception of statements and texts; to substantiate the relationship between language and the worldview of an individual or a nation; to identify and describe speech deviations and applied aspects of the use of psycholinguistic methods.

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, after lectures on the relevant topics, practical classes are held, where assessment is carried out in accordance with the types of work and the form of control described in clause 7.1 of the WPED. The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student in the process of performing the specified types and forms of training during the semester.
