PRS 24. To apply the skills and abilities necessary for the translation of Korean-language texts related to various genres, styles, discourses (economic, legal, diplomatic, artistic, media and Internet), audiovisual translation.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
knowledge of basic terms and concepts of general linguistics and translation studies. Basic knowledge of the Korean language.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to provide students with systematic knowledge of the main lexical features of translating legal and diplomatic texts. To improve students' professional competences and their practical skills in translating text from the original language into the target language, to understand logical semantic blocks and adequately transform them into semantic blocks of the translation language.
