Learning outcomes
PRN 7. Understand the main problems of philology and approaches to their solution using appropriate methods and innovative approaches. PRN 8. To know and understand the language system, the general properties of literature as an art of words, the history of the Polish language and literature, and to be able to apply this knowledge in professional activities. PRN 10. Know the norms of the literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities. PRN 14. To use Polish, English and Lithuanian languages in oral and written form, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres life. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before taking the attestation exam, students must successfully master the mandatory polonistic disciplines and know: • theoretical content of polonistic disciplines of the compulsory block. • terminological designations of the main concepts of philological science (linguistics, literary studies); • systematic organization of the modern Polish language (units, relations, processes of all levels of organization of the language system), methods of traditional linguistic analysis (phonetic, phonological, morphemic, word-forming, morphological, syntactic, semantic, stylistic); stages, phenomena and processes of formation and development of the Polish literary language; • the principles of periodization of the literary process, the main historical periods of the development of the history of Polish literature, leading signs of literary styles, directions
Course content
The exam is conducted in oral and written form, the grade is fixed. The comprehensive attestation exam in Polish language and literature contains four questions that reflect the content of the following educational disciplines of the OPP "Polish language and literature, English and Lithuanian languages": "Modern Polish language: Practical course", "Comprehensive discipline History of Polish literature", "Introduction to Slavic philology", "Polish folklore". The ticket consists of four questions. The first two questions are aimed at assessing students' knowledge and are of a theoretical nature: the first - from the field of the Polish language; the second - from Polish literature. The third and fourth questions are theoretical and practical, involving a comprehensive literary analysis of the proposed literary work (literary school/group), identifying the student's level of assimilation of material from the history of Polish literature of various periods, the ability to navigate theoretical aspects of literary studies and apply an analytical approach to a literary work, understanding of the current problems of the modern literary process, a theoretical-practical task on the Polish language, connected with phonetic, lexical-semantic, word-forming, morphological, syntactic, stylistic-functional analysis.

Assessment methods and criteria
The number of points that a graduate can score is formed by the sum of points for 4 questions: the maximum number of points is 100, the minimum positive number of points is 60, according to the rating scale.
