PLO 17. Collect, analyse, systematise and interpret facts of language and speech and use them to solve complex tasks and problems in specialised areas of professional activity and/or study. PLO 22.2. Have the skills to interpret and translate Polish and Lithuanian texts of different styles and genres. PLO 23.2. Apply knowledge of the Baltic-Slavic linguistic and cultural continuum in translation practice PLO 24.2. Apply methods and strategies established in translation studies for interpreting and translating.

Successful completion of the discipline "Lithuanian-Ukrainian Translation of Business Documents" requires knowledge of the basic vocabulary and grammar of the modern Lithuanian language (EC "Lithuanian Language", EC "Practical Course of Lithuanian Language"); knowledge of professional philological terminology and terminology system, which students have learnt during the comprehensive discipline "Introduction to Philology" ("Introduction to Literary Studies", "Latin", "Introduction to Linguistics"), knowledge of basic linguistic and cultural terminology and issues studied within the discipline "Linguistic and Cultural Studies and Lithuanian Folklore"). Higher education students must have the ability to generalise and summarise (PLO "Scientific image of the world).

The course deals with the issues of Lithuanian-Ukrainian translation of business documents, which include the characterisation of the discourse of business documents and official business style, as well as the typology and structure of official business documents in the Lithuanian discourse space. The discipline covers theoretical and methodological foundations, principles, strategies and mechanisms of business document translation. The course "Lithuanian-Ukrainian Translation of Business Documents" is designed for the fundamental professional training of specialists in philology and translation who are knowledgeable in intercultural communications, means and methods of business communication translation. The subject of the course is Lithuanian-Ukrainian translation of various types of business documents (personal, work, academic, banking, contractual). Mastering the discipline "Lithuanian-Ukrainian Translation of Business Documents" allows students to acquire professional knowledge that will be useful to future bachelors of philology for successful intercultural communication and professional translation activities.

Answers in seminars, spontaneous monologue and dialogue, report with presentation, home reading / individual reading, written assignment (writing essays, essays, letters) Final assessment: credit. The final number of points in the discipline (maximum 100 points) is determined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not include additional assessment measures.Therefore, the final grade in the discipline (minimum 60, maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the number of points for semester work (minimum 48, maximum 80 points) and the final test (minimum 12, maximum 20 points).
