PRN 5 Collaborate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, supporters of different political views, etc. PRN 11 Know the principles, technologies and techniques of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and Slovenian and English languages. PRN 15 Carry out linguistic, literary and Slavic philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres. PRN16 Know and understand the basic concepts, theories and concepts of Slovenian linguistics and literary criticism, be able to apply them in professional activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites: Students must know the history of Ukrainian and world literature within the school curriculum, general factual knowledge of a humanitarian nature; have the basics of the communicative aspect of the Slovenian language, successfully master the knowledge of the subjects "Introduction to Literary Studies", "Introduction to Slavic Philology", "Slovenian Regional Studies and Folklore", "Foreign Literature".
Course content
The purpose of the ND is to give students initial generalized systematized information about the development of Slovenian literature from the time of the appearance of the first literary monuments to the XIX century. to form an understanding of the main trends of the literary process in Slovenia of this period, focusing on traditions and innovations, to trace the national specifics of the development of Slovenian literature in its relationship with European cultures; to acquaint students with the creative heritage of the most prominent representatives of Slovenian literature of the outlined period; to form skills of analysis of works of art of Slovenian literature in the context of national and European poetics; to develop skills to lead a literary discussion; to develop artistic thinking and speech culture. The content of the course is Slovenian literature of the Middle Ages, the Reformation, the Enlightenment until the birth of Romanticism.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Historical-literary, comparative-historical, textological, receptive and socio-cultural approaches will be used during the teaching of the course "History of Slovenian Literature". The presentation of the material is carried out using the following teaching methods: lecture, illustration, video review of the material, work with the book (reading, abstracting, quoting).
Assessment methods and criteria
The test is set based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment activities. Students who scored a minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "credited". Students who do not score a minimum positive number of points - 60, receive - "uncredited". Students who scored a total of less than 60 points during the semester, to obtain credit must write a material on the topics on which the debt arose, in the form of writing independent papers, essays or, if necessary, write a test.
