Learning outcomes
PLO 13. To know and understand the modern philological and didactic principles of teaching Turkish language and literature and English, language norms, socio-cultural situation of the Turkish language development, peculiarities of using language units in a certain context, language discourse of fiction and modernity. PLO 14. Possess communicative competence in Ukrainian, Turkish and English (linguistic, socio-cultural, pragmatic components in accordance with the European recommendations on language education), able to improve and enhance their own competence level in the national and international context. PLO 16. Possess the basics of professional culture, able to create, edit and translate texts of professional content in the state, Turkish and English languages. PLO 20. Ensure a dialogue of cultures in the process of studying Turkish language and literature and English, creating conditions for intercultural communication.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastery of professional disciplines during previous courses. 2. Appropriate knowledge of the material in the field of morphology, grammar, syntax of the modern Turkish language. 3. Possession of skills of free expression of their point of view in oral and written form. 4. Possession of the necessary knowledge of the syntax and morphology of the Turkish language, the relevant vocabulary.
Course content
Knowledge in the areas of taxis, syntax, and morphology of the modern Turkish language is systematized. Considerable attention is paid to the systematization of knowledge, consolidation of previously learned grammatical phenomena on a wider lexical material. Complex cases of use of lexical and grammatical constructions are also studied. At the same time, special attention is paid to the in-depth mastery of the Turkish language for special professional purposes in the future professional activities of teachers. The formation of practical skills is carried out by selecting the optimal forms and types of classes that are as close as possible to the future activities of teachers.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to a system that provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, an assessment of theoretical training, which is 40% of the total grade, and an assessment of practical training, which is 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Vocabulary and grammar exercises: 10 - 15 points. 2. Homework: 2.5 - 5 points. 3. Supplements: 1 - 5 points. 4. Conversational topic: 2.5 - 5 points. 5. Home reading: 8 - 10 points. 6. Module test: 12 - 20 points. 7. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
