Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: the difference between ordinary and project activities; basic forms of organizational structure of projects, approaches to project planning and control, meaning and content of project management, general characteristics of social project management, basic criteria of expediency of social projects; technical and organizational approaches to social projects, phases of project implementation and implementation. Be able to: determine the goals and objectives of the project, to form a justification for the feasibility of a social project; plan resources, costs and project budget, schedule the project and monitor its progress throughout the project cycle; develop the organizational structure of social projects and determine the basic requirements for it; analyze the effectiveness of project management and determine the criteria for the effectiveness of social projects; analyze risks on the achievement of project results; form, organize and manage a project team.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to form in students a system of theoretical and applied knowledge, methods, techniques, tools and standards for creating and managing projects in all sectors of social work, gaining skills to manage the development and organization of social projects. Modern social design is designed to solve problems at the global level. This discipline gives students the opportunity to get acquainted with the essence and importance of project activities, identify tools for organizing and managing social projects, gain experience in building their own social projects to solve current social problems.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, seminar, practical tasks, discussion of controversial issues
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral answers, practical tasks, projects, the exam. The maximum amount of points per semester is 60 points. The exam is held in written form, according to the exam tickets. The minimum amount of points for admission to the exam is 36 points. The amount of points scored per semester is announced in advance.
