Prerequisites and co-requisites
must know: psychological and social characteristics of different groups of clients; modern technologies of social interaction; content and essence of communication; mechanisms of social perception; socio-psychological content of conflicts; the essence of psychological influence;
must be able to: use psychological methods of personality research; to establish appropriate relationships with clients taking into account their individual characteristics; identify current customer problems and help solve them; to implement technologies of contact interaction;
must possess: knowledge of general and social psychology; knowledge of various forms of individual work with clients; knowledge of the basic forms of social work
Course content
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with various forms of social interaction that can occur in ordinary situations of professional communication, as well as in conflict situations. This will contribute to the formation of communicative competence of the specialist. Methods of social interaction help to identify the client's internal resources, causes and motives for his behavior. Therefore, the professional interaction of a social worker is aimed at helping different categories of clients in the communication process. In the process of social interaction, the social worker can optimize interpersonal client’s relationships, as well as help them resolve conflict situations.

Assessment methods and criteria
Verbal answers, abstracts, modular control, test. The maximum number of points per semester is 60 points. The form of the test is verbal, in accordance with previously submitted creative tasks and projects. The minimum number of points of admission to the test is 36 points. The number of points scored per semester is announced in advance. Evaluation scale: 0-59 points - not credited, 60-100 points - credit.
