Learning outcomes
LO 1. To search, analyze and synthesize information from various sources for solving professional tasks and to establish causal relationships between social events and phenomena. LO 3. To identify, formulate and solve problems in the field of social work, to integrate theoretical knowledge and practical experience. LO 10. To analyze socio-psychological processes in small and large groups. LO 11. To use prevent methods for deviations in mental development, behavioral disorders, interpersonal relationships breakdown, for conflict resolution, for prevention of social risks and difficult life circumstances. LO 14. By their own to determine the circumstances which are needed social assistance.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic concepts and categorical apparatus of the disciplines "Social Psychology", "Personality Psychology", "Social Perception Training"; methods of self-presentation, management of group processes; technologies and means of influence and interaction in the communicative process, facilitating techniques.
2. To be able to organize the process of uniting and building a team, analyze group processes and phenomena; apply methods and techniques of organizing dialogic communication, conflicts, facilitation, etc.; apply the acquired knowledge in the practical field.
3. Possess the skills of business communication, reflective listening; analysis of various crisis situations and determination of possible ways of working.
Course content
The course purpose for students is assimilation by students of the basics of socio-psychological knowledge on issues of group dynamics, processes and phenomena of the life of the group and obtaining the skills of their application in various applied spheres of professional activity. The discipline is designed to acquire knowledge, skills and develop skills in managing group processes in the direction of team formation and group cohesion, methods and techniques, types and problems, forms, structural components, models, etc. Consideration of issues related to the organization of activities for the development of group cohesion and the application of various techniques in relation to specific spheres of social practical activity and tasks to be solved is envisaged.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods: creative and reproductive tasks of independent work; preparation of practical tasks, workshops; modular control work; final evaluation in the form of a test.
Form of final control – credit.
The final grade for the discipline consists of 100 points: 60 points for the module and grades for the exam (40 points). A student is not allowed to take the final test if he scored less than 36 points during the semester. The credit score cannot be less than 24 points.
Organization of assessment: the organization of the forms of assessment is provided by the curriculum and carried out during the semester including creative and reproductive tasks on independent work, preparation of practical tasks, workshops, discourses, a compilation of modular tests at the end of the discipline.
