Learning outcomes
To know and master theoretical knowledge about: Texts of international documents. Be able to read literature and publicistic materials in the field of specialty to render in spoken or written forms. Be able to determine the theme, attitude and idea of the author, main, reasoning and illustrating information in the texts. Be able to understand spoken language of the lecturer, news reader in the field of specialty. Be able to understand main ideas and define proper information in the course of discussions, debates, official speeches, lectures, conversations in the field of specialty. Master the skills of conducting discussions with a wide scientific community and the public on selected topical theoretical and practical issues in the field of specialty.

VІ semester Theme 1. Text structure in scientific and publicistic style of speaking. Theme 2. Linguistic rendering of secondary texts on the basis of the source text.

Assessment methods and criteria
Control is performed according to modular-rating system. Semester consists of two modular works. Modular works 2 x 10 = 20 Class control: tasks for writing - 10, class work – 10, vocabulary – 10, translation – 10, final evaluation (complex final module):individual reading (150 pages per semester for III year students and 200 pages per semester for IV year students) – 20, lexico-grammatical test (credit/exam)
