To understand principles of labor and social law, legal nature, scope, parties and peculiarities of the conclusion of an employment contract in different countries, characteristic features of termination of labor relations in different states, legal regulation of working time and rest periods in different states and international legal acts, peculiarities of legal regulation of wages, occupational safety and health, international and national standards for ensuring occupational safety and health, the legal status of workers’ organizations and employers’ organizations, the importance of social dialogue and social partnership, the right of workers to participate in the decision-making process at the company, labor disputes and ways to solve them in different countries, legal responsibility in labor law, the peculiarities of social insurance and pension systems of different countries, Universal and European labor and social legal standards

Knowledge of the theory of state and law; ability to analyze and compare law norms of different countries, universal and regional international law provisions; ability to apply knowledge and skills acquired in the study of disciplines of theoretical, professional and practical training, including "Theory of State and Law", "History of State and Law", "History of Political and Legal Doctrines", "Comparative Constitutional Law"; mastering the skills of applying the comparative law method.

Grounds and procedure for termination and change of employment contract 7. Legal regulation of wages 8. Legal regulation of working time and rest periods 9. Occupational safety and health 10. Collective labor law and social partnership 11. Definition and concept of labor disputes. Methods and procedure for their solution 12. Legal responsibility in labor law 13. Legal regulation of employment and protection against unemployment 14. Concepts and types of social risks. Social Insurance 15. The main types of state social insurance 16. Pension insurance 17. State social and medical assistance 18. International Universal and European social standards and legislation of Ukraine

Lectures, seminars

Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers and presentations (up to 30 points), written analytical individual and group tasks, case studies (up to 20 points), final modular test (up to 10 points). The form of final control is an exam. The exam is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the exam – up to 40 points.
