Learning outcomes
PLO 1. To know and understand the nature, sources and directions of the evolution of international relations, international politics, foreign policy of states, the state of theoretical studies of international relations and world politics PLO 4. Analyze and evaluate international and national security problems, international and internationalized conflicts, approaches, methods and mechanisms for ensuring security in the international space and in the foreign policy of states PLO 5. Collect, process and analyze information about the state of international relations, world politics and foreign policy of states. PLO 8. Communicate freely in state and foreign languages orally and in writing, on professional and scientific issues. PLO 13. Participate in professional discussions in the field of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies, respect opponents
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: the basics of international journalism, the basics of the work of a television journalist, the English language. Be able to collect, analyze, compare and comment on information from open sources of national and international media. Have basic skills: working with a computer, public speaking techniques

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of assessment: the level of achievement of all planned learning outcomes is determined by the results of the student's work in seminar classes, the quality of preparation of independent works, execution of case studies, presentations and individual performances. Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge and skills: the quality of presentation skills and analytical abilities that the student must demonstrate during the preparation of individual works. Individual work 1 - media monitoring and analysis of television news information on a given current topic from international agenda - up to 15 points (lower level of positive assessment - 10 points). Individual work 2 - conducting media monitoring and analyzing information from printed publications on a given current topic from international life - up to 15 points (lower level of positive assessment - 10 points.
