Learning outcomes
Know and understand the nature, sources and directions of evolution of international relations, international politics, foreign policy, the state of theoretical research of international relations and world politics.
Critically comprehend and analyze global processes and their impact on international relations.
Analyze and evaluate problems of international and national security, international and international conflicts, approaches, methods and mechanisms of security in the international space and in foreign policy.

Know: global information processes and trends that contribute to the development of the information society;
Be able to: analyze and evaluate factual material of international importance;
Have practical journalistic skills, know and follow professional media standards.
Course content
Introduction.
Topic 1. Features of the work of an international journalist in Ukraine and abroad.
Topic 2. Structure and organization of the international media department.
Topic 3. Correspondent network and work of offices abroad.
Topic 4. Basic principles of formation and functioning of the source base.
Topic 5. Specifics of coverage of operational and expected international events.
Topic 6. Journalists and diplomats.
Topic 7. International information on television, radio, print and electronic publications.
Topic 8. International journalism in Ukraine: current status and prospects.
Modular control work 1
Topic 9. Classification of genres of domestic and foreign journalism.
Topic 10. International reporting.
Topic 11. Social networks in the practice of an international journalist.
Topic 12. Interview technique.
Topic 13. Innovation in the processing and dissemination of international information.
Topic 14. Article, international commentary and review.
Topic 15. Transformation of artistic and journalistic genres of foreign journalism.

Assessment methods and criteria
1) defense of individual tasks;
2) modular tests.

Students can receive up to 60 points for work and writing module tasks.
In classes, students perform practice-oriented tasks, which are assessed with a maximum of 10 points (threshold level of a positive assessment - 2 points).
The content module includes all topics. Mandatory for the exam is the performance of individual work provided for in the work program of the discipline.
