PLO 4. Analyze and evaluate the problems of international and national security, international and international conflicts, approaches, methods and mechanisms of security in the international space and in foreign policy. PLO 5. Collect, process and analyze information on the state of international relations, world politics and foreign policy of states. PLO 10. Develop and implement applied research projects in international relations, foreign and world policy. PLO 15. Know the basic rules and techniques of collecting and processing journalistic information on international topics, the laws of journalistic materials of various genres PLO 16. Know the cognitive aspects of visual thinking, the rules of information visualization for the creation of journalistic materials of various genres

Course content
Module 1. Visualization of information: perception of design. Topic 1. Cognitive aspects of visual thinking and basic principles of infographics. Topic 2. Basics of data visualization. Module 2. Presentation of graphic information. Topic 3. Types of computer graphics. Composition in infographics and graphic editor. Topic 4. Basics of presenting graphic information

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge and skills: activity and quality of speeches, reports at seminars, participation in discussions, quality of individual tasks on topics, activity during the discussion of case studies and subject discussions (separately for the 1st and 2nd module) - up to 20 points (lower level of positive scores - 13 points). Final module test work from the 1st module (conducted in the form of an online test on the Moodle platform) - up to 20 points (lower level of positive assessment - 12 points); final module test work from the 2nd module (conducted in the form of an online test on the Moodle platform) - up to 20 points (lower level of positive assessment - 12 points). Execution of the final creative work (1 work) - up to 20 points (lower level of positive assessment - 10 points). Written works are accepted in due time through the Moodle platform.
