Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: modern psychological theories of personality in general and theories of the psychology of social work clients in particular; the content of the concept of risk group, classification of risk group representatives; the main signs of belonging to a risk group; domestic and foreign practice of social work with at-risk groups. Be able to: determine the affiliation of an individual, family, community to the risk group; establish contact and interact with representatives of the risk group; analyze social risk factors and determine means of assistance to representatives of risk groups.
Course content
The purpose of teaching the discipline is to prepare future social workers to organize work aimed at promoting better social adaptation of persons at risk, eliminating threats, threats to health and life of social service recipients, providing psychological support, reducing stress and stress, providing basic needs of the recipient of social services. The main objectives of the discipline are to master the theoretical foundations of the organization of assistance and social work with people who have problems of social adaptation; developing practical skills and abilities to organize interventions as a field of social work.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, written individual assignments, training of communication skills with clients of social work
Assessment methods and criteria
Creative and reproductive tasks, individual work, preparation of reports and abstracts, a compilation of modular tests, the performance of examination tasks. The maximum number of points per semester is 60 points. The exam form is written, following the previously sent creative tasks and projects. The minimum number of points for admission to the exam is 36 points / maximum - 60. Exam: minimum 24 / maximum 40. The number of points earned during the semester is announced in advance.
