Course content
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is one of the leading, modern, scientifically based methods of psychotherapy. It is based on the awareness that in many psychiatric disorders and psychological problems, a distorted perception of reality (self, other people, the future, etc.), as well as inadequate actions in response to existing problems, are the main factors that support the development and maintenance of existing problems and disorders. Accordingly, critically rethinking his perception of reality and his behavior, with the help of a psychotherapist, the client tries to change dysfunctional, negative patterns and cycles of thinking and behavior to more objective and useful ones - those that will contribute to improving the emotional state, solving interpersonal and other problems, changing the life situation for the best.
