Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic categories of general, social psychology; scientific theories of personality; ontogenetic patterns of mental processes, the formation of mental properties and states. 2. Be able to distinguish the category «personality» in the system of categories «man», «individual», «individuality», «agent»; independently collect, analyze and systematize information on the personality formation problems. 3. Have basic skills of diagnosis and analysis of intra-individual and social factors in the formation of personal qualities.
Course content
Discipline provides theoretical and practical training of bachelors in the field of individual social skills’ formation and development, forms their systematic knowledge of the nature, mechanisms, types, factors, models, effects, age patterns of socialization. The discipline belongs to the cycle of compulsory discipline for the specialists on the first level of higher education and is part of the complex discipline "Psychology". The characteristics of the main scientific approaches to the content, structure, process and results of the individual socialization are studied in the conditions of informal and formal influence. The age regularities, the essence of socializing influence and socializing practices in the social pedagogue work with different categories of the population are studied.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of student academic success is carried out during all types of classes and the results of independent work. The level of knowledge which is demonstrated in the answers and speeches; practical and test tasks are assessed. In total, maximum score of a student could be 100 points. The form of final control is a written exam. The maximum score on the exam is 40 points, the minimum number of points which could be added to the semester mark is 24 points. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points. Examination scale: excellent 90-100 points, good 75-89 points, satisfactory 60-74 points, unsatisfactory 0-59 points.
